About Parisa Malekzadeh

LPCC | MA | PMH-C

I believe you are the expert in your own life and my role is to help you craft a path that allows you to fulfill and achieve your goals. The therapeutic setting is meant to be a safe space for you and I make that space comfortable, culturally appropriate and inclusive. Therapy is a process that often requires the engagement of both the individual and their support system to create long lasting change and I am willing to work with you and significant others in your life.

I work with couples using the Gottman Method to help with understanding the dynamic of the relationship, mapping out the negative communication cycles, processing traumas that impact the relationship and understanding the interaction between partners. The goal is to increase healthy communication styles and learn to listen and understand the way your partner needs.

I am also certified in Postpartum Mental Health and work closely with the perinatal/postpartum community to help women feel supported during this life transition. Perinatal mood disorders is a newer field that tends to be dismissed. As a mother myself, I understand the joys and challenges that a new baby can bring and I want to support new moms successfully navigate the postpartum period.

Finding the right therapist is a crucial step towards your journey of growth and healing. A 15-minute consultation is a powerful tool in streamlining this process, allowing us to connect and explore how we can work together towards your goals. Take that first step towards positive change—book your consultation today.
